If you really knew me

I was reading one of my favourite blogs this week, Running on Happiness and Katie wrote an “If you really knew me” post. She asked people to share their own and it inspired me to do just that. So often the lines between fantasy and reality get blurred in blog land and unfortunately opening up and being vulnerable on a public forum can be scary. But in an effort to let my readers get to know me a little better, I’m gonna take a deep breath and throw it out there….

If you really knew me…

I like to collect items with moose on them, from Christmas decorations to my BBQ cover  they are subtly occupying my house

I’m not sure if my eyes are blue or green, they seem to change colour all the time

I’m a big introvert

And hate organized activities

I have a rebellious side to the word “conventional”

And I’m horrible at math but have the memory of an elephant

If you really knew me….

I have a sarcastic sense of humour and love comedies

I share of love of accents as does my brother

My close friends and family call me B, B-Lee or BBGun

Fresh cut hay and freshly brewed coffee are my two favourite smells

Crowded places make me claustrophobic and heights make me nervous

And If you really knew me…

I believe in paying it forward and that everyone has potential to do something amazing, mostly they just need someone who believes in them

One day I want a family but struggle to understand how or where it would fit into the life I’ve designed

I’d love to own a merino ram… I’d call him Wilfred

I hate my feet and was terrified to ever get a pedicure, now it’s the only spa activity I’ll book

I’m stubborn but fiercely loyal to my close family and friends

And I realize we’re blessed with everyday we get on this earth and want to make it count…
