Valentine’s Day- Hot date night planned? Not us! Probably the reason you haven’t seen a mushy post from me yet today is because quite simply we’re pretty boring. We’re eating leftovers, working out and maybe watching a Netflix movie, I might get experimental and attempt a new dessert… BUT before I put my last and final reader to sleep, I thought I’d share one of the more exciting and Valentine’s friendly items of my day~my outfit.
Surprise, a red dress! Cliche I know, but I still love this skater style dress (also seen here) from Simons. Add some lace-up booties with my favourite leopard scarf of all time with some statement piece accessories from Stella & Dot. So for those heading out for excitement and adventure, leave a comment and let me know what you’re doing so I can live vicariously through ya 😉 Or if your settled in for the evening, throw me a Netflix suggestion!
Dress- Simons (old); Boots- Seychelles (Gilt); Scarf- LV; Jewellery- Stella & Dot
You are gorgeous! We stayed at home tonight as well! Have a good evening girl!
Thanks so much! Sometimes there’s no place like home 🙂 Have a good night too!
Love the dress! We were incredibly boring, Jeff picked up pizza on the way home, we wolfed it down with the kids, did dishes & chores. The romance is thick like a cheezy movie!!
Haha, well good to know we aren’t the only ones… left over lasanga and sweatpants!
Looking great! I suggest the The House of Cards! It was good!!
I’ll have to check that one out! I started watching the Reader, it was a no go for us 🙁
Love the dress! and the scarf! Well shoot, I just love the whole outfit 🙂
My man was out of town so I stayed in and watched Gossip Girl. Not so romantic, but lots of drama lol
Thanks Katlyn! This dress is so comfy, like sweatpant comfy so technically I felt like I was in my sweats on Valentine’s day 🙂 I watched some girly TV as well, maybe next time I’ll be more motivated 🙂
My Casey had an appointment with the vet oncologist and surgery scheduled for the next day so we played it very low key and stayed in…but we usually do. Instead, we went for a nice dinner on the 13th…which is my preference because it’s always a nice quiet affair, unlike Valentine’s Day when the restaurants often have set menus because they are a zoo!
Love the dress and of course the boots too!!!!
I hope Casey is doing well! I saw the heart cast, poor guy! I think we’ll opt for dinner out on a different night as well as I agree the set menu is not that fun!
