My Canadian Tuxedo

My Canadian Tuxedo

I once read a fashion article that was discussing the ways in which you could “pull off ” the Canadian Tuxedo. It stated, “you want to rock double denim without looking like you got lost on the way to the cattle ranch…” Well, call the fashion police, because that’s exactly how I want My Canadian Tuxedo to look.

I love the look of a chambray shirt, but pair it with a beautiful floral print and you have this amazing Cheyenne shirt from Paige 1912.  I’m also loving the fit of these dark wash Jolene jeans, I can wear them to the office with heels, or out to the barn with boots. Ok maybe this Canadian Tuxedo is way to fancy for the cattle ranch- it might be the “I got dressed up to go to town and do errands look, but wait have to grab wood or feed the dog before I head out the gate”.

And while it’s not the cute romper or jumpsuits that we’re seeing ladies to the south already posting about because they are truly experiencing spring (and me major FOMO). I think this is about as spring-like as I am getting this weekend. I’ve got a pop of colour with this Turquoise Cap… Personally I’ve been pondering if this might be the start of the next ice age? I’ve never seen this much snow at this time of year.  Which already has me thinking of escape contingency plans for next year. So my Canadian Tuxedo for 2019 might be cutoff shorts and a denim tank, the trucker hat still applies…

Thank you! It’s honestly one of the best fitting button ups I’ve ever owned!
