To all that have noticed I might be a little M.I.A in the last week, well we’re back! October blew by like nothing, I still can’t comprehend that last week I was decorating pumpkins in some gorgeous fall weather, to now shoveling snow and looking at the latest Christmas display of snowflake clad mugs as I grab my morning Starbucks.
We also managed to finish our Holiday lookbook shoot for the store, which I’m excited to release soon, as well as help TripleSpot users get a taste of what the Canadian Rockies has to offer. But with all this going on I still managed to sneak away and spend sometime with my family doing some of my favourite hunting for the year, looking for bighorn sheep. Finding them within the massive mountain ranges is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, so it may seem to be that we do a great deal more sheep hiking than hunting, but once you find them I assure you it’s a spectacular experience. I’m happy I got to once again experience it with my dad and mom, as I had many years ago.
Sometimes with a start-up company the ever-expanding to-do list and being understaffed can leave you feeling ‘snowed under”. My word of advice, after having a few grey hairs in this arena Take the time to enjoy your annual traditions or celebrate with family and friends. I assure you everything will be on the desk where you left it the next morning, because as Dr. Seuss points out, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory”.
Here’s some shots on last week’s hiatus:
