Thanksgiving Style-5

Cardigan: Cashmere & Camo; Shirt: Ariat, Jeans: Joe Fresh; Booties: Cashmere & Camo

This weekend myself and fellow Canadians are celebrating Thanksgiving. Taking time to reflect this crisp morning before the day’s activities ensue, there is so much to be thankful for. I realize I was less than enthusiastic at the beginning of 2013 and am really disappointed with my lack of enthusiasm which is unlike me at the onset of a new year. Maybe superstitious little old me just didn’t like the thought of the #13 in the year? But whatever it was, I’m glad I’ve turned my attitude around because this year has surprised me in so many ways. I’m ever thankful for my wonderful family and friends, your continued support and love never ceases to amaze me. I’m thankful for all and any hardship we’ve seen this year because it’s a continual reminder of what a person is made of and what truly matters when it all boils down. I’m also thankful that this year I’ve learned to “just be”. Just be in the moment, or to just be- me. This hasn’t come easily, but with bright fall foliage around, a coffee in hand watching the ducks on a park bench, gratitude seems to come so much easier when you’re not always thinking 5 minutes ahead, and it’s these moments I’m grateful for.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Thanks so much Crystal! I was actually thinking of going a little different for fall, changing up your hair colour can be scary though!
