Whoohoo! We made it, another Friday is here! I don’t know about anyone else but this week was especially busy and I’m excited to get out of the office and change gears for a couple days. With spring break and Easter coming up here are a few things that might be fun to try this weekend.
Natural Dyed Easter Eggs
Decorate for Easter, with some au naturale easter eggs. I love the muted tones that the natural dyes give off and it’s a fun experiment with the kids to show them what certain veggies or spices can do! Also for an ombre look, vary the time you dip your eggs for a range of hues.

Create Your Own Spring Floral Arrangement
Vibrant spring flowers always freshen up the house. Try your own arrangement in a rustic bucket or crate, either with fresh flowers from the market or try a silk arrangement that can also deliver vibrancy to the home but will last a lot longer.

If you’re local to the Calgary area, Branch Market and Studio is having a pop-up shop this weekend with local artists this Saturday, Mar 19th head out to Black Diamond to find or participate in some fun Easter crafts!
Re-purpose Old Chairs or Stools For Spring and Summer
Have some old stools or chairs kicking around the storage room that you’ve been hiding? How about adding a pop of color to a room in the house by painting one or all of them? I love the fun vibe it can add to any room and it’s an inexpensive add to the home for a season or two.

Put Your Twist On An Old Recipe
Have any vintage cookbooks or grandma’s old recipe cards that you inherited? Try a dish, meal or heck even a cocktail inspired by a recipe!
Hope everyone has a happy and safe weekend, see ya back on Monday!
